Passage notes:

• Hamble to Shoreham is about 53 miles straight line, so about 8 hours under engine
• The lock at Shoreham into Lady Bee opens on the hour to exit, on the half hour for entry
• Beware SW wind on the nose for the return journey
• Beware the rocks off Selsey
• CS + another club skipper

Facilities:

• Small but friendly marina
• Tapas bar by the marina
• Carats beach cafe (****) for breakfast. (follow paths to the beach through the lock and harbour. you can’t miss it)
